These environments are frequently tied to family homes, personal hobbies, or sports\u2014or simply because they represent their “happy place.”<\/p>\n
We always return to the fundamental principle we shared when we first started talking about dresses and locations: consistency<\/b>. Harmony in your choices is the foundation for the overall balance of the event.<\/p>\n
While these “special contexts” can be quite broad, today we are focusing on the most popular scenario for couples looking beyond the classics: the beloved sea.<\/b> A coastal setting makes any wedding exceptionally evocative.<\/p>\n
If you want to organize a wedding in these enchanting locations, you must know from the start that it is extremely important not only to respect the characteristic elements of the environment but to enhance them with balance.<\/p>\n
During the hottest months, many couples choose the coasts of our own country, while others opt for more exotic destinations that allow for different seasons. Whether it\u2019s a sandy beach or a terrace overlooking the water, everything must be fresh, light, and dominated by natural colors<\/b>: white, ecru, sand, and the shades of the sea for details\u2014from sky blue to turquoise to a delicate stone blue.<\/p>\nThe Bridal Look: Light and Airy<\/h3>\n
The bride\u2019s look must also be fresh and light.<\/p>\n
Fabrics:<\/b> Say yes to ultra-light, matte fabrics like georgette or, even better, silk chiffon in its various weaves. Lace can be used, but only in its lightest versions.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Silhouettes:<\/b> Opt for soft, fluid gowns that allow for freedom of movement. Go for plunging necklines, bare shoulders, and subtle transparencies. While beautiful and fluid, satin is more suited for elegant evening events. If you love this material, consider a dress change from sunset onwards!<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n The Shoes:<\/b> Choose your footwear carefully. If you are on the sand, a beautiful flat sandal<\/b> is a must. If you\u2019d like a bit of height, consider a modest wedge or plateau, but don’t overdo it. If your event is on a terrace, you can be bolder with a jewel-toned sandal or an open-toe heel.<\/p>\n Hair and Makeup:<\/b> Everything should be natural. Your makeup should be sheer and delicate, and your hairstyle neat but not overly “constructed.” You are by the sea, on the sand, and hopefully in bright sunlight\u2014any exaggerated sophistication will look out of place. Skip the bold red lipstick and smokey eyes, and leave the heavy jewelry at home. For hair, a small floral detail or a delicate crown (even with tiny shells) is perfect.<\/p>\n The Bouquet:<\/b> Preferably small and round. If you like the idea, you can incorporate small details that reference the sea.<\/p>\n To create true harmony, it is almost mandatory to set a dress code<\/b>. Imagine a crowd of bright, clashing colors ruining your heavenly aesthetic of neutral, natural tones!
