That said, for those of you who don’t want to give it up, we have some practical advice to suggest. The aim of course is to find the perfect veil for the perfect dress!<\/p>\n
There are many possibilities but here we will provide you with general information on the main models and combinations.<\/p>\n
The veils can be made in any size. Generally if you opt for the long veil it must be at least 15-20 centimeters \u00a0more than the dress.<\/p>\n
The veil is usually made of tulle, but other light fabrics such as organza and chiffon can also be used.<\/p>\n
The latter two have less transparency but are of great effect.<\/p>\n
The veil can also be double-draped or single-draped.<\/p>\n
As far as finishes are concerned, the choice is very wide and should be made based on the dress.<\/p>\n
As a general rule we advise you to opt for a veil without a border or in any case with a light finish if your dress is rich in details. On the contrary, if your dress is simple and minimal, you can dare with an important veil, for example with an embroidered lace edge.<\/p>\n
The simplest veils can be without any edging (“raw” cut), or with some light applications such as micro sequins or small points of light.<\/p>\n
For the edge, lace is always widely used, from the lightest such as chantilly<\/strong> to more important laces such as rebrod\u00e8<\/strong> or macram\u00e8<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Or, for a more current effect, you can opt, if the style of the dress allows it, for a satin, mikado or organza edge.<\/p>\n If you are getting married in common, we do not recommend the veil which is certainly more suitable for a church ceremony.
