In fact, after the real holiday of August, September appears very busy as usual. We were literally captured by the launch of our Capsule Collection which is giving us quite a bit of satisfaction judging by the popularity our models are receiving. And then all the arrivals of the new collections in the Atelier… Furthermore, we know that in September Milan is full of fashion-related events and we couldn’t miss it!<\/p>\n
But let’s get back to us because today we’re talking to you about a problem that often arises when the future bride has to make an appointment for the dress fitting and that is “WHO CAN\/SHOULD I BRING?”.<\/p>\n
The knot to untie lies first of all with the bride who probably finds herself having to manage an infinite number of requests from friends and relatives who would like to attend the rehearsal (and unfortunately give too much advice!).<\/p>\n
Secondly, there may be a logistical problem. It is unlikely that the Atelier it will host will be able to accommodate numerous people all together.<\/p>\n
Here, for example, we advise by telephone that the bride must be accompanied by a maximum of 3 people (but an exception is made for the fourth).<\/p>\n
The reasons for our choice are basically three. The first, as we have already mentioned, is a question of space.<\/p>\n
The rehearsal rooms are designed to accommodate three companions, plus the bride. This is to give the person the opportunity to look at themselves completely in the mirror, moving freely. And also to make it easier for us when dressing.<\/p>\n
We must understand that we are not in large American shops but in an Atelier in the heart of Milan which aims to be an exclusive, but intimate and intimate place.<\/p>\n
Try to imagine if each of the three brides that we can host at the same time arrived with an entourage of six or seven people. The more brides… the more us.<\/p>\n
The second and very important reason is that the wedding dress fitting is a magical and exciting moment which however requires a bit of concentration, serenity and reflection. And it’s a nice moment to remain intimate. It should be shared with the most important people, a few. And not in the midst of a brawl of friends and relatives.<\/p>\n
The third reason is that the more people there are, the more opinions will be listened to. Often clumsy opinions, even if in good faith.<\/p>\n
It is normal for the bride to look for answers in the gazes of those who observe her<\/p>\n
Furthermore, each of us has our own preferences, taste is something very personal and we often hear people say “I don’t like it” (and we have to tell you the truth… friends in groups are the worst at this!!)<\/p>\n
On the one hand it is normal for everyone to express their opinion on the emotional wave. But too many opinions create confusion and risk being less than objective.<\/p>\n
We have learned over the years to listen to the bride, letting her look at herself, letting her express her feelings. This balance is not easy to find if there are too many people.<\/p>\n
